THE "PRINCE RADIO JINGLES"

I am currently seeking a "name artist" for my original song written and performed by Prince himself that was one of his original songs that secured his contract with Warner Brothers back at the start of his career and has never been released by Prince. I own his performance and 100% of all song rights in a signed contract by Prince himself.

What It Is That I Have

One original song written by Prince (and myself) and performed by Prince singing and playing all instruments.
I have a signed contract by Prince assigning me 100% of all rights; writers and Publishing (we can supply you a copy) and use of his performance.
I have written legal rights to use this song and Princes name in a single or newly released "duet" version.

How It Is I Own It

I Wrote Prince's 1st. Hit

Besides writing most of the songs that got Prince signed to Warner Brothers, I also wrote the first hit song for Prince which was named Soft & Wet.
Additionally, I originally marketed him, came up with the color Purple, the "sexual theme" of his songs and his name, at the time he refused to use Prince as his name, it was our longest and only disagreement.

Writing Songs With Prince

I discovered Prince when he was just 16 at my recording studio MOONSOUND STUDIOS in Minneapolis, MN back in 1977. He and I would sit on a stool across from each other and for a year sit together, write songs and then record them. I wrote the words, he sang and played the music.

Back then, when Prince was just 16, I wrote the lyrics to "Make It Through The Storm" for him. He then wrote the music. The song became one of the main demo songs we used to showcase the artist and get him signed to Warner Brothers Records.
